At Deloitte Digital, we’re here to help our clients shape the future, which includes using the latest strategies, tools and platforms to get their marketing working harder for less. We’re looking for ambitious, creatively-minded, marketing optimisation specialists to join the team.

If that sounds like you, and you have experience under your belt either at a consultancy, agency or internet marketing services firm, our Media Optimisation Specialist role could be the next step you’re looking for.

Where is it?

Based in our airy and bustling offices in Clerkenwell, London, with its legendary coffee machine and model train track, you’ll also have a chance to work with clients throughout Europe and beyond.


  • Delivering large-scale digital advertising projects that help clients meet customer needs, constantly improving digital campaign management and optimisation performance.
  • Take ownership of digital campaigns budgets and media agency relationships.
  • Working with iconic brands to define new operating models or enterprise digital architectures.
  • Be a passionate champion of digital data; gathering, aggregation, and mining.
  • Identify the most valuable opportunities to improve advertising performance, redesigning digital experiences to deliver this.
  • Ownership of rapid prototype data management platforms and plug them in across paid, earned and owned media channels (web, mobile, social, email, display).
  • Take the lead in the development of RFPs, proposals and contracts.
  • Leading teams through all phases of a project lifecycle planning, discovery, workshops, experiments, blueprints, go live, and ongoing managed services.
  • Work with outstandingly talented people across disciplines to innovate and solve some of the most exciting problems for our clients.

About you

Overall, you’re an ideas person and problem solver as well as a hands-on doer – that’s important. A good graduate degree (First or Upper Second) in mathmetics, marketing or a technical speciality is a must, along with the right to live and work in the UK.

You’ll also have

  • Experience in web and digital marketing.
  • Experience with leading client-facing projects.
  • Hands-on experience with trading desks and SSPs.
  • Strong working knowledge of display, video and mobile campaigns management for advertisers (direct response and branding; international; 7 figures budgets).
  • Detailed understanding of Data Management Platform, Supply Side Platforms, Real Time Bidding platforms, Trading desk management and process, Adserver set up and trafficking management, and tag management.
  • Detailed understanding of private exchange and Deal ID management.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital marketing best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of the European display market and types of media deals.
  • Strong working knowledge of various third party data sources among several geographies.
  • Understanding of online optimisation and personalization.
  • Familiarity with algorithm and big data technology potential in order to work with data scientists and data managers in charge of designing and developing segmentation, lookalike, analytical and predictive models as well as dashboards.
  • Familiarity with emerging adtech/platforms/architectures (fingerprinting, cookieless...).
  • Familiarity with TV media buying.
